Have you heard of the fitness phenomenon that is slowing taking over the world? It’s called F45 and it has made it’s way to London. Last month, I had the chance to experience the circuit based work out at the Farringdon branch and kind of got addicted. F45 Training combines elements of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Circuit Training, and Functional Training. This combination of interval, cardiovascular and strength training has been proven to be the most effective workout method for burning fat and building lean muscle. Here are a few reasons why you might want to give this type of training a go:
There is no slacking off or hiding in the corner at F45. The 45 minute sessions includes a warm up and cool down and you will never leave without giving it 100%. The F45 trainers do a great job at encouraging each client which means you get the most out of your workouts. No pain, no gain.
Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays you can expect cardio based circuits, Tuesdays and Thursdays are resistant based workouts and Saturday is a super circuit of both. Each day is planned out with a variety of exercises so that it never gets dull and boring. I’ve also tried so many different exercises and lifted heavier weights which wouldn’t have happened by myself in the gym. The sessions are hard, sweat fuelled and go by like a flash.
The team at Farringdon are super laid back, welcoming and friendly. There’s no attitudes or elitism, just down to earth and positive vibes. This makes training at the F45 Farringdon brand enjoyable and it’s one of the reasons I keep going back there.
I’m not one for quick fixes, but going to F45 I see great results and fast. As I’m always in and out of London travelling for the blog, I can easily fall off the band wagon. My “try everything once” motto means I eat lots of different things abroad so coming back to London, I need to train smart before my next trip. I try to make it to four sessions in one week and then I feel amazing and back on track. If you’re up for the challenge and want a complete body transformation, F45 also offer 8 week challenges throughout the year which you can sign up to.
The combination of good vibes, fast results and a laid back training environment has got me hooked. And I’m not the only one. If you speak to anyone that has tried F45, no doubt they have kept up the routine and enjoy having this type of training on offer in London.
So no matter if you’re looking for a challenge, wanting to switch up your wellness routine temporarily or permanently, I can highly recommend the team at F45 Farringdon. What’s not to want from fast, effective training and a whole lot of fun?
